Dear friends of Project Makeover,
Welcome to Project Makeover 2020! As we prepare for this years’ makeover, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to you for your enduring interest in our mission: to create a more dynamic learning environment for elementary school students.
We are thrilled to announce that this school year’s Makeover weekend will take place Friday, February 21st - Sunday, February 23rd at C.W. Norton Elementary School. Whether our volunteers sign up as a team or organization, want to stay for three hours or nine, want to landscape, paint or build, we know this weekend will be fulfilling for everyone who believes in Project Makeover’s mission. We hope to see you there. Volunteer sign ups will be released in the coming months.
In the meantime, our team is excited to release dates for the upcoming events we’re hosting in preparation for Makeover weekend 2020:
Come out to Chipotle at 1432 W University Ave. on October 8th from 5 - 9 p.m. for a share night with Project Makeover. Proceeds from your purchase will go toward PM 2020.
We will be hosting a telethon on October 9th at 7:30 p.m. Our team will email and call potential donors so we can provide the C.W. Norton community with Project Makeover’s best makeover yet.
We are returning to Alachua Elementary School for this years’ Mini Makeover on October 19th.
We are looking for donations for both our Mini Makeover in October and Makeover weekend in February, including food, supplies, and potential sponsorships.
