Since 2008, Project Makeover UF has revitalized public elementary school environments into vibrant centers of wonder and learning. We mobilize student volunteers, educators, and community champions to foster lasting impact through creativity, dedicated service, and collective care.

Every school year, we partner with an underserved elementary school to identify and design their dream spaces.

Makeover weekend
Makeover weekend
Hundreds of volunteers collaborate across three intensive days to paint custom murals, construct outdoor learning areas, and complete a high-impact campus transformation.

Students return on Monday morning to refreshed campuses designed to foster educational curiosity, creativity, and self-confidence.
